Write-down your recovery phrase on paper with pen, and laminate it to protect the paper. That's the best way by me :D

I prefer to keep it in dropbox... but it's not safe as I see

Get a hardware wallet like nano ledger. It has a protected paper kit!

The alternative method is to install a wallet, write your phrase, keep it on a safe place, and then uninstall the wallet. This way no one has access to it. Also, you can keep the wallet but disconnect the device from Internet (but the wallet may need an update from time to time).

You can try Green Address by Blockstream. It's a Bitcoin only wallet. I prefer this one

Ok, but what happens if you lose your private keys? It's all gone...

I'm using Nano Ledger. It's amazing device!

Emma, if you lose your keys and you don't have access to your wallet, you're lost unfortunately. Take care of your Bitcoin. It's a like your house. Just take it seriously!
